SteelGate LLC has an exciting opportunity available for a SME Information Technology Project Manager at Yokota AFB, Japan supporting US Forces Japan (USFJ) J6. Qualifications:
Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing all work necessary to provide project management oversight of site survey services to facilitate the upgrade, installation, integration, and turnover of C4 and IT systems ISO assigned projects. Experience managing projects and/or programs with multiple OCONUS performance locations. Experience with Status of Forces Agreements (SOFA) requirements, regulations, and processes within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
Responsibilities:
• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology
Assignments and establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Directs and coordinates project management and planning activities to ensure that technical requirements are met. Interactions involve coordination with Government POCs and interfacing with senior management.
• Coordinate pre-site survey activities; contact Government POCs to coordinate site surveys, submit security (visitor access requests) and site access requirements, and ensure all required facilities; power, and technical personnel (e.g. IT, Cyber Security, Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)) are present.
• Coordinate requirements for information verification survey, to identify the existing conditions of the site(s); document the findings in a Site Survey Report
• Coordinate requirements for grounding and bonding survey to assess potential issues that may impact equipment installation related to the project.
• Coordinate Survey requirements and test existing infrastructure.
• Coordinate Survey requirements and asses the condition of the site(s)’ facilities to assess potential upgrades that may impact equipment installation related to the project.
• Coordinate Survey requirements and asses the condition of the site(s)’ environment to assess potential issues that may impact equipment installation related to the project.
• Document all survey findings in a Site Survey Report
• Develop a draft Implementation Schedule which includes design milestones (e.g., Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR)
• Coordinate LOM/BOM/ROM for project plans and coordinate procurement and logistics activities
• Coordinate with USFJ J6 for integration of command priorities and requirements as staff augment

Qualifications:
• US Citizen
• BS and 8+ years or equivalent required
• Meet Minimum DoD 8570 Level II minimum IAT or IAM requirements: CISM/CISSP desired
• Must have a current and active Secret Clearance; TS clearance w/SCI eligibility is desired
• Current PMI/PMP training/certification required

Salary Range: $140-150K w/ LQA additional compensation NTE $28,800 annually ICW SD/FAR allowance
