Description

SteelGate is looking for a talented Computer and Information Systems Manager to join our team. The right person will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met. Oversee the maintenance of Microsoft Windows-based systems and networks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines and analyze budgets. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for network security and system administration. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and Program Manager. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft Windows and networking. Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows and networking

Certification Requirements:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level III

Required Skills:

• Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows Server
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware a plus
• Experience with scripting and automation such as PowerShell
• Experience with project management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and practices
• Possession of strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• 10+ years’ experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
