Telecommunications Engineering Specialist


Responsibilities


Assist in the development of processes and procedures for managing, assessing, and evaluating customer requirements, to include Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Change Requests (CRs) Identify emerging requirements and prepare and submit change requests and ECPs as new requirements, or previously overlooked requirements. Provide technical and administrative support during the requirements decomposition process and the business processes review. Provide technical and administrative support for the Requirements Control Boards (RCB) and other governance forums requiring functional participation, and facilitation of Subject Matter Expert (SME) workshops. Participate in planning and coordination of technical reviews to include the System Requirements Review and System Functional Review. Manage requirements through the use of the PMO furnished management tool. Assist with allocation of ECPs, CRs, and other requirement changes. Support the presentation of Release Plans to the Engineering Control Board (ECB) for vetting, RCB for stakeholder approval, and Configuration Control Board (CCB) for contract approval
  • Serves as the IMO and Telephone Control Officer and is responsible for providing technical support for installation, operation and maintenance of a wide variety of communications and automation equipment that includes hardware and software support for Desktop automation equipment and peripherals in a geographically dispersed organization.

  • Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience providing Cybersecurity expertise within government contracts.
  • 5+ years of experience working within the Army’s Defensive Cybersecurity Operations.
  • United States Citizen.
  • Have a DoD Secret clearance (required upon hiring) with the ability to pass an SSBI background.
