Configuration Management Specialist
Responsibilities
The contractor provides assistance in configuration management of all necessary documentation for the Government to undertake and manage project system acquisitions including:
Support the development of the Government’s CM policy, plan, charters, processes and procedures
Review CM plans for compliance industry standards and the Capability Maturity Model
Provide configuration accounting in support of change management activities and facilitate/participate in applicable IPTs and Control Boards
Provide project document Configuration Management (CM) support
Provide collection, reviews and input/import of critical Configuration Items (CI) documentation of physical networks, hardware, cabling, and assets to include
Outside Plant (OSP), Inside Plant (ISP), Local Area Networks (LAN), Data Centers, User spaces and desktops, Land Mobile Radio infrastructure, Wide Area Networks (WAN), and as-built Project Drawings
Prepare/coordinate technical and management-level reports, reporting CM metrics, baseline management and version control
Provide a working, manageable enterprise C4I implementation that will enable continuous Change and CM of all IT configuration items throughout their lifecycle, cradle to grave
Support Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber regulatory requirements, support CM processes, supports EIA-649-B Configuration Management standards, and support network accreditation policies.

Basic Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience providing Cybersecurity expertise within government contracts.
5+ years of experience working within the Army’s Defensive Cybersecurity Operations.
United States Citizen.
Have a DoD Secret clearance (required upon hiring) with the ability to pass an SSBI background.
